Drizzle is a Menu Bar application that displays weather forecasts based on your current location. The program is very simple to handle and configure, uses a small amount of CPU resources while running in the background, and provides you with accurate weather information.
Before using this utility, you need to enable Location Services option from System Preferences and allow Drizzle to determine your current location. Afterwards, the application displays the weather details in its main window.
The program provides you with easy-to-configure settings within its Preferences menu. You can set up the app to display the temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius degrees, notify when it's going to rain in your area, and much more.
Another advantage is that the app shows you the lowest and highest temperatures on various hours (3AM, 6AM, 9AM, etc.).
With that being said, Drizzle proves to be a smart addition to your collection of Mac applications. It's a suitable alternative to checking for weather reports by using your browser, doesn't slow down the performance of your Mac, and is absolutely free of charge.
