Drive Rescue 1.9 is a software to recover deleted files and lost drives.

The program has been discontinued since 07/30/2002, as can be read in the author´s page. He´s not offering it anymore in his web site.

Drive Rescue can be run in 20 different languages. You don´t need to install it, it can be run even from a floppy disk or USB drive.

If you want to recover your deleted files, you must select the logical drive where they were saved, select them from the folder "Deleted" and then save them where you want it back

Should you have lost a drive (if the drive letter is lost, or became inaccesible), you will have to select the physical drive to recover, find the logical drive, select your files in the "Root" folder and then save them.

The program was intended to have an option to recover lost data (data lost due to system crashes or quick formatting). You should do it selecting the logical drive where they were, pushing the "Find Lost Data" button, and selecting the files to recover from the "Lost" folder and the save them. This option was never implemented.
