The program immediately searches a subtitle file based on your selections in Preferences panel (chosen language) and saves it, if available, in the home folder of the loaded video. This program can download only SRT files. Hence, file formats like SUB or TXT are not supported. However, the SRT format is supported by a wide variety of media players, so this shouldn't be an issue.
In my testing, the application worked flawlessly. It immediately found and downloaded subtitles for three different TV shows and didn't run slowly while fetching the files.
