Dr. Calgory's Lab is a Mac app developed for users who are into playing matching games on their computers. This game brings a steampunk-inspired interface and animations (19th-century industrial steam-powered mechanisms), fitting background music and sound effects, and plenty of challenging tile matching missions.
You have access to plenty of gameplay instructions as well as hints while completing a mission. A good thing is that you can always quit gameplay and go to the main menu of the app without losing your progress (the app enables you to save your gameplay progress whenever you like).
Your objective is to rotate groups of four tiles in such way you form squares holding identical items. You will have access to various power-ups and increase your final score if the matched groups contain more than 4 tiles.
Unfortunately, you cannot create more than one player profile or replay missions.
To sum things up, Dr. Calgory's Lab is an entertaining and addictive matching game for Mac users of all ages. What's more, you don't have to pay to install it on your computer.
