docXConverter is, as its name suggests, an application that enables you to convert documents saved as DOCX in Word 2007 to CSV, TXT, and RTF file formats. This program comes in handy whenever you wish to extract the contents of your DOCX files and save them as individual TXT or RTF documents.
The first thing you need to do before converting DOCX files is to configure the output settings according to your needs. After you complete this step you can use drag-and-drop and provide the input documents, then just wait for the results.
I like the fact that it doesn't take too long to process the input files, even when loading a large amount of DOCX documents. Another advantage of docXConverter is that it preserves the original layout of the input file.
The only aspect that bothers me is that it supports only three output formats (RTF, TXT, and CSV).
To sum things up, docXConverter is a program for Mac that offers you a simple way to change the format of your DOCX files to TXT, RTF or CSV. The application is very easy to handle, provides you with the results you require in minimum time, and comes with a reasonable price.
