DKRuler is a desktop ruler that can be dragged and dropped horizontally, vertically, and with a translucent background. It stays on top of all applications and file system windows, and you can even put a picture of your choice on the standard ruler. You can also hide the standard ruler when DKRuler loads, although it will still be accessible in the system tray.
