DjVu files usually contain scanned data, such as images, text, etc. Unfortunately, Mac OS X doesn't provide you with a default tool for handling this type of files. This utility enables you to easily convert DjVu files to PDF, a format that's compatible with a wide variety of Mac programs.
You can import as many DjVu files as you like and choose which pages from the selected files to be extracted and converted. The built-in help manual will teach you the application works and might prove to be of good use if you're new with this type of Mac programs.
In my testing, the utility immediately converted a 72-page DjVu file to PDF format. The app managed to preserve the quality and layout of the original file and didn't slow down my Mac while converting the DjVu document.
The only thing that bothers me about this program is the fact that it doesn't provide you with an option to select a default destination folder for the PDFs. You need to choose the output folder for every batch of DjVu files you convert. Still, this disadvantage isn't a big deal.
All in all, this application proves to be a reliable solution for converting DjVu files to PDF format. It's efficient, works 100%, and preserves the quality of the input documents. What's more, it's very cheap.
