Diswy can be useful if for whatever purpose you want to hide all the icons on your desktop without having to delete them. Just run Diswy and all icons will disappear from your desktop, run it again and they become visible. The application is portable - no setup needed. It does not change any Windows files and does not delete your icons. The effect is not permanent. As soon as you restart you PC all you icons will be visible again.
