DesktopID is a faceless application that simply displays configuration details on the desktop. The information is super-imposed and cannot be removed by the user.
Why? DesktopID is designed as a support tool for engineers and administrators of Mac machines. It makes key information immediately available to the user or engineer who is using the machine.

PPC, Mac OS 10.2.6 or later Other versions of Mac OS X may work but have not been tested by the author. Note: Version 1.84 has only been tested on Mac OS X 10.4.2
