This application file for Descent II enables users to take advantage of the OpenGL graphics accelerator. To be able to use this file, a full version of the original Descent II and an ATI, OpenGL supported card must be installed. This is a beta version and some known bugs are present such as no cockpit mode, HUD using Monaco system font, and no chroma depth rendering. Version 1.27 fixes network multiplayer games (Netsprockets & IPX) and slide on working with bank.
