Dell webcam manager is a utility that lists and let you launch all webcam applications available from creative on your Dell portable, it includes the webcam console ( basic webcam usage), webcam center (basic and advanced usage) or webcam central (replacement for webcam center) and Creative livecam application (animated avatars).
All applications mentioned above can be launched from their respective program icons on the Windows start menu, therefore Dell Webcam manager main purpose is to provide an easy way to launch all those applications from one interface.
This application is only shipped with Dell lastest Inspiron, Vostro and XPS portable lines (Inspiron 1420, 1520/21/25/26 , 1720/21 and XPS 1330 /1530/1720 ) supporting both Windows XP and Windows Vista. It is included on the same setup CD or downloaded file that installs all applications mentioned before.
Since the application target was Windows Vista, sometimes after installing it on Windows XP, its shortcut Icon doesnt appear inmediately....restarting the system sometimes fix it. Otherwise shortcut should be done manually.
