Defense Zone 2 is a strategy game developed for Mac where your objective is to defend your fort from incoming enemy attacks. You can eliminate the opponent forces by using various types of land as well as air weapons, take as much time as you like to strategize, and replay challenges if needed.
The graphics look nice and the background music and sound effects go perfectly with the scenery. Furthermore, the app lets you choose between multiple display options, allows you to disable sound effects or music if needed, and provides you several visual effects settings.
The goal is simple: deploy and upgrade as many weapons as you afford (you can use the money you collect after eliminating incoming troops) to help you defend your fort. The enemy troops arrive in waves, so you can take the time between the rounds to buy new weapons or move them to different locations.
My only problem with this game is that you need to restart the app in order to alter display settings.
In conclusion, Defense Zone 2 is an addictive and entertaining strategy game that can keep you in front of your Mac for hours. It provides you with many useful instructions, brings you nice graphics and many levels, and comes with a fair price.
