Decompressor is a Mac utility that provides you with a quick and easy way to extract various types of archive files. This program works with formats like ZIP, RAR, 7-ZIP, TAR or GZIP, supports batch processing, and takes minimum time to unzip your archive files.
The application doesn't bring you an actual main window. You can change the way it operates from its main menu. You can go to the "File" menu to import the archive files and to "Decompressor" to configure the settings from the Preferences panel. You can choose in which folder to extract the contents of your archive files, enable screen notifications, change app theme, etc.
In my testing, the utility worked flawlessly. It immediately extracted the archive files, without slowing down my computer.

So, you should give Decompressor a try on your Mac if you ever need to extract the contents of your archive files with minimum effort. In addition, you don't have to pay a buck to use it on your computer.
