dBpoweramp DSD Codec (Direct Stream Digital) is a program that provides a unique method of storing audio, primarily used on SACDs, DSD stores audio as 1 bit with a very high sample rate (2.8MHz, or 5.6MHz), intended to be sent directly into a sigma-delta DAC. This codec will convert DSD audio so that it can be played on normal hardware.
