You have the ability to customize the item display in the menu bar so you can see the event name and the number of days until or since a specific day. The display of the counting days can be configured according to your preferences. Therefore, you can set the app to show only numeric days or display the information as a short or long descriptive sentence, including the number of days, months, and years. Optionally, you can add prefixes or suffixes to decorate the text. Unfortunately, the free version supports only one slot. You need to upgrade in order to unlock more slots for multiple special days. Another thing that should be mentioned is that the app doesn't alert you by any means when the due time is near. You just need to pay attention to the counting days.
