CyberLink YouPaint is a simple program to paint on your PC.
It will let you create your own art from scratch, or work on some of the drawings included in the program. You can use different types of brushes and pens, paint your drawing using a color palette or add pre-made elements by applying stamps. It is also possible to include patterns, choosing them from an extensive list. You can also choose any of the included templates and work on it. These will appear in your screen in black and white, allowing you to colorize them, to add elements, to apply stamps, and much more.
Your work can be saved in either BMP or JPG format, or sent to your printer. It is possible to use touch pads and pen tablets as input devices. In fact, together with the tactile functionality existing in Windows 7, you can paint directly on your monitor just by using your fingers. This program seems to have been designed with kids in mind. It includes many easy-to-use tools, but it does not have features that you will find in more sophisticated programs, like Paint Shop Pro or Photo Paint. The trial version of CyberLink YouPaint will be fully functional for thirty days.
