CrossLoop is a free screen sharing application designed to easily connect to other people by using the Internet. The program enables the guest to take control over the host computer and to share files in a secure way due to the encrypted connection.
CrossLoop is easy to set up as it integrates automatically to Windows security and Firewall settings. When creating a connection, the organizer is provided with a 12 digit code which needs to be given to the guest in order to use the virtual connection. Aside from this, no configuration is needed and the connection times out automatically if the guest doesn’t use it.
CrossLoop is secure for all connections as it uses 128 bit encryption. The interface couldn’t be more simple, just choose either Share or Access to get started.
On the downside the program is unable to connect more than one guest that becomes useless for business presentations.
In this version the users can now transfer files and there is Windows 7 support. Also there is a new Home version of the program which for a price offers unlimited unattended remote access and is ad free.
