Crazy Tanks is a very simple action game for the Mac. You control a tank and your goal is to destroy all your enemies in each level. There are thirty different levels, and you can unlock new types of tanks. Your enemies will be tanks and turrets. There are two types of turrets and four types of tanks.
You control the tank with the arrow keys and shoot with the space bar. Your ammunition is unlimited, so you can shoot as much as you can. Most of the enemy tanks are moving all the time, so to hit them, you should aim in front of them. The turrets, you deal with, are different. You can approach them from behind, but they react fast, so your best bet is to shoot them when you are approaching and then move away, and do the same until you kill them. If you shoot against a wall, the projectile will bounce off and it can hit you if you are not careful.
I played the first 6 or 7 levels and the game wasn't very challenging. You lose health when you shoot yourself or when your enemies shoot you. Your health isn't replenished after each level. You need to collect power-ups for this.
In short, Crazy Tanks is a very simple game that can be fun to play for a while. I would put it in the time killer category.
