CPU Speed Accelerator is a simple program designed to help users increase the CPU being allocated to their foreground utilities. The utility is packed with easy-to-configure settings and uses minimum CPU resources while operating in your Mac's Menu Bar.
To use this tool on your Mac, you first need to make it active. To do that, you need to provide the administrator's access password. Afterward, configure the program's settings according to your needs and click the "Activate" button.
The utility will sit on your Menu Bar the entire time, without slowing down other running tools. You can always alter the program's settings (change the acceleration percentage for the foreground utilities) and even configure the tool to automatically launch at system login.
Even though my foreground tool worked a bit faster after using CPU Speed Accelerator, I still don't think it's worth paying this much for it. It does exactly what a certain Terminal command can do. Furthermore, there are various Mac tools that provide you with similar features and don't cost as much as CPU Speed Accelerator.
