Covered is a Mac utility designed for users who are looking for a simple and quick way to organize their iTunes media collection. With its help, you can immediately search and download quality artwork for the videos, songs, and books from your iTunes library.
The program comes with a user-friendly interface, features a powerful search utility, and enables you to preview the found artwork before downloading it to your local directories. What's more, it lets you choose the preferred artwork resolution before launching the download process.
Another advantage is that the app allows you to share the found artwork directly from its interface. Simply right-click the artwork in question, choose the sharing method (for example, via email), and you can send the image to your friends or family members.
The only thing that bothers me about this program is the fact that it supports only one output format when exporting the downloaded artwork: JPG. Other popular formats, such as PNG or TIFF, aren't supported.
