CopyMyKey is a command line utility that allows users to append a specified key to a specified server. It has the default of .ssh/id_rsa.pub to .ssh/authorized_keys or allows users to specify the location manually. It is a great replacement for the missing ssh-copy-id and tests the connection shortly after copying.
