Command-F is a free tool that enables users to set up hotkeys to quickly launch their preferred file search utility. It supports Tembo, HoudahSpot, Find Any File, EasyFind, and DataLore. Command-F allows users to set up two hotkeys - one that is only active when the Finder is in the foreground and one that is active across the entire system. Some search tools even provide users the option to focus their search on the current Finder window.
