Color by Numbers - Princesses is a nice coloring application for children, especially for girls, which includes a collection of drawings depicting different kinds of princesses. Unfortunately, the trial version will only allow you to paint the first two drawings, but at least you can have an idea of what the application looks like and what it includes. There are three coloring methods to choose from: color by numbers (you paint by following the numbers indicated in the drawing and in the palette), color it to make visible (the drawing is divided in small pieces with a number, so you must paint it by following the numbers and the indicated colors), and paint in your favorite colors (you select exactly the colors you wish to use in your drawing).

The application includes a small palette with nice colors, but you can customize it from the bar at the top. There are hundreds of colors to choose from. The program has a nice and simple user interface with lovely sounds and pleasant, if a bit repetitive, music. It is run in full screen, so the kids won't have access to your computer. Sadly, the drawings cannot be saved or printed.

In short, if you are looking for a nice coloring application to keep your girls entertained for a while, Color by Numbers - Princesses may be a good choice.
