CollageIt 3 Free is intended to create collages from your photographs. Of course I know that there are many applications that allow generating a collage from various pictures, but this one has a special feature: it can do it automatically without your intervention. Fortunately, it is very easy to use.

The tool supports two modes: Auto and Free, which you can choose depending on your skills and intentions. Likewise, you can pick a style from a list of four, including Mosaic, Grid, Center and Pile. Additionally, for each of these styles, there are lots of templates. A collage can contain up to 200 photographs. Once your collage has been generated, you can polish it a little by adding other elements, such as stickers, text, frames and masks. Unfortunately, though, the tool does not let you crop photographs, which is sometimes necessary.

In automatic mode, Collage 3 Free can take the pictures you store in iPhoto to generate collages. Luckily, such an advanced technology as face recognition is used for this purpose.

Good news is that the app lets you share the resulting collages in many ways. So, besides storing your work as a project you can continue editing later, it also supports uploading it to various social networks, like Facebook, AirDrop, Twitter and Flickr. Other ways include sending them via email, printing them out and saving them in various file formats, such as JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PNG, GIF and PDF. It is also possible to use the collage as your desktop background. Unfortunately, it does not allow exporting large collages.

All in all, Collage 3 Free can help you create attractive collages without much effort. As you can guess from its name, this product is free. However, you can upgrade to its Pro version from within the tool, which would eliminate some of the limitations and grant you access to technical support.
