CloudPull is a simple Mac utility that was designed by the Golden Hill Software company to offer you a solution for backing up the contents of your Gmail account. This program provides you with a quick and easy solution for storing important emails or contacts and prevent any data loss in the event that your Gmail account gets compromised.
The application comes with a user-friendly interface, allows you to back up the contents of multiple Gmail accounts at the same time, and uses a very small amount of CPU resources while creating the email copies. What's more, this utility brings you an integrated search tool that helps you immediately locate the email or contact info you need.
CloudPull also features a small menu that's placed on your status bar and gives you immediate access to the "Back Up Now" option.
In my testing, the application worked for 100%. It didn't take long to back up my emails and contact info. Also, it didn't slow down the performance of my Mac while creating the email copies.
In conclusion, CloudPull proves to be a smart addition to your collection of Mac apps if you own a Gmail account. It's efficient, simple to use, and affordable.

This update disables backup of Google Reader, but continues to provide access to existing Google Reader backups.
Other improvements:
• Renamed the app to “CloudPull Free”.
• CloudPull now backs up user-defined labels that start with “[Gmail]/” or “[Google Mail]/”.
• If you have a login item for CloudPull, CloudPull will leave it as-is rather than trying to migrate it to the newer-style “start at login” mechanism. Either way, CloudPull will continue to start upon login if you have set it up to do so.
• You can now copy the name of an item by right-clicking on it and selecting “Copy” from the resulting menu.
• You can now copy the link associated with a Google Reader subscription or article by right-clicking on it and selecting “Copy link” from the resulting menu.
