Clipping Detector is a tool that checks audio files for clipping. It can report the clipping status of the current playing track from iTunes, and it can also send a Growl notification if Growl and Growlnotify are installed. It only works on DRM-free media, and it does not fix the clipping problem. It only works on individual files and does not work on iTunes library meta files or folders.
