Classic Mines is a variant of the traditional minesweeper game, in which you need to uncover blocks avoiding the mines. When you uncover some blocks, there will be numbers which will reveal the number of mines that are adjacent to them. These numbers will help you avoid mines and you can mark the mines with a flag, so that you do not make them explode. To uncover a block, you just need to left-click on the desired square, and to put a flag, you use the right mouse click. If you uncover a mine, the game will be instantly over.
The game is timed, and your score will be based on how fast you uncover all the blocks. If you accidentally blow a mine and the game is over, your score will be based on the number of blocks you have discovered so far. This score can be shared in multiple social sites to compete with your friends, and you can also send it by email. Sadly, the game offers very simple graphics and sounds. The music is adequate, though.
To conclude, if you like the traditional minesweeper game, you may want to try this remake called Classic Mines.
