Role-playing afficionados have another game to turn to on Mac with Clan Lord. This fantasy game similar to Dungeons & Dragons sets you off on a number of adventures, where, more often than not, you'll have to use you logic and reasoning to solve puzzles. Although the graphics are pretty weak, and more adapted to Mac Classic than OS X, we found the game fairly enjoyable.
You can start off playing with any of more than a dozen demo characters. The tutorial allows you to quickly adjust to the game and understand what sorts of actions you can do like exchanging karma or doing spirit links. The game play feels a bit sluggish at first but you quickly get used to it. To chat with people all you have to do is walk up to them and start typing.
Clan Lord provides loads of playing time. Although nothing like World of Warcraft, it's that little nostalgia feeling that only classics offer.
