Chronograph is a very useful Windows utility that synchronizes the system’s time to the atomic clock, provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The program can automatically set the time correctly on many computers and provides extremely high accuracy, which is appreciated by people of certain professions, such as stock traders.
On startup Chronograph connects to one of the most closely located NIST servers, retrieves the right time and compares it to the local system. The program is also able to display time differences around the world.
Multiple users can synchronize their computers to Chronograph using the timeserver mode. If set up on the LAN, the program is automated to connect at intervals, or you can make a connection manually. It even supports automatic dial-up and proxies.
Chronograph is customizable: the users are able to change and choose skins (this also changes the look of the taskbar clock). Other settings include date and time format, proxy server, time server and automation configurations.
This version is supported by Windows 7, an enhanced server connection algorithm that makes it adjust faster plus automatic daylight saving changes.
