Chess Knight is a board game for Mac that allows you to practice your chess skills against the computer or a friend. By playing this game, you get to practice your chess strategy, get useful hints for possible piece moves, and improve your gameplay without competing in a race against time.
You can choose from two game modes, against a computer contestant or multiplayer (against a real-life person), and four difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert). If you require any assistance while playing the game, you can set the program to display possible piece moves.
The thing I don't like about Chess Knight is that it doesn't allow you to save game progress. Therefore, if you quit the application while playing a game, you can't resume gameplay when relaunching the app.
Also, it's known that this type of board game often has a time limit for making the piece moves. Even if you opt for Expert mode, you don't have access to this feature; so, Chess Knight doesn't offer you the exact notion as the popular game itself.
Still, even with the aforementioned disadvantages, I still consider Chess Knight to be a great solution for practicing chess skills.
