Chef is a wonderful application that allows you to store and share recipes.

The program features a nice and user-friendly user interface that enables you to find everything you need in a snap.

The first thing to do is install the program database. Be patient, since it takes a while. Then you can enjoy the sample recipes and create your own in just a few simple steps. You can even create shopping lists stating the priority of the items as normal, high, urgent, and low.

The recipes can be searched by tiles and categories in the free version, but the registered version offers more options. It even includes a meal planner where you can plan your meals and shopping lists ahead for an easier organization. In the recipes you can include as much information as you wish including preparation time, source, cook time, description, ingredients, directions, and more. You can even add bookmarks to access frequent recipes more quickly. The program also comes with a list of ingredients and measurement units, but you can add more if you want. All the recipes and shopping lists can be printed, so you can take them wherever you go.

The free version only allows you to store 20 recipes and has other few limitations. However, this is enough to provide a clear view of the program, and later you can decide whether it is worth buying the registered version or not.
