ChapterMark is a utility that lets you convert your MP3s into audiobooks. The program becomes very useful if you want to create an audiobook to listen to on your iOS device from several MP3 files. It can also be useful to convert your MP3 albums into a single file, which your iPod will treat like an audiobook. It will be divided in chapters just as an audiobook would, and the music player will even remember when you stopped listening to resume later.
Using this app is fairly simple. You have to drag and drop the files that you want to convert onto the screen. There is also a space where you can drag and drop covert art, if you want your audiobook to include any. Each file that you add will become a chapter in the audiobook. And you can re-arrange those files on the screen by dragging and dropping to set their order. When you are done with that, you can start the process. After the conversion is done, the program will output an M4B file and it will automatically add it to iTunes.
In my testing, I added over 20 files and the whole process took less than a minute. The resulting file played just fine on iTunes that means that there won't be any problems to sync it with an iOS device. The only thing that this software misses is batch processing. Right now, you can only create one audiobook at the time.
