Chaperone - Task Tracking is a program designed for Mac users who wish to keep track of the amount of time they spend working on certain chores. This application helps you stay focused on one assignment at a time by associating tasks with utilities installed on your computer.
The tool features simple-to-configure settings, sits on your Menu Bar without using many CPU resources, and lets you know when it's time for a break. What's more, the program keeps track of the amount of time you spent working on a task.
Another advantage is that it notifies you to get back to your current chore if you work with other apps than the ones associated with the chore. This way, it helps you stay focused on your work.
I also like the fact that the application provides you with accurate statistics regarding the time you spent working on a task and lets you export them as CSV files. This feature comes in handy if you're a freelancer and need to calculate your fees.
All in all, Chaperone - Task Tracking is a simple yet very useful program. The app is easy to handle, offers you detailed task statistics, and comes without a price tag.
Start alone and confused in a dangerous place, and go on to carve out a piece of the world for yourself.
