Carried Away is a puzzle game that is driven by physics and plenty of imagination. The game takes place on a ski slope and gamers are charged with using their puzzle solving nature to create ski lifts that will safely take skiers to the tops of the slopes. Miscalculations can cost lives, while there are special blue stars available for those that perform particularly well.
Watching skiers slip and slide around on the ice in Carried Away can be a lot of fun and in many cases it is more entertaining than trying to solve the actual puzzles. Players are given all the tools they need to create ski lifts such as lift towers, platforms, logs, supports and wheels and have to fix out the best places to position these items. Then it is time to sit back and discover whether their creation will bring success or disaster.
People who have a love for solving puzzles and are looking for a game that will really challenge them may well want to take Carried Away out for a spin. Either an actual working knowledge of physics or plenty of patience is required to make it through some of the tougher levels and some gamers are likely to give up before they make it to the end, although the clumsy skiers provide plenty of light entertainment to help keep things interesting.
