However, you'll realize that your decisions and actions have a greater effect on the world around you.
True to its name, this game features gameplay that revolves around a card system. You are dealt a hand of cards, and you will base your actions and decisions on that contained group of choices. This mechanic adds a level of unpredictability to the experience as you can never really get a good grasp of what could happen until they're right in front of you.
The game's map is laid out in a tabletop-like manner with branching paths. You basically decide how your adventure will unfold based on this premise. Regardless, you will be encountering a variety of interesting characters along the way that can either be friend or foe. However, despite everything it has going on, the actual gameplay is short, typically only lasting a few minutes each session.
Overall, if you like western games about cowboys, Card Cowboy is an interesting one worth checking out. It looks nice, easy to get into the story, and its card-based gameplay offers plenty of fun and variety.
