Capture Polar is a lighting design and documentation software tool available for Windows and Mac OS X. Capture allows you to work in real-time with all elements of your design, providing a streamlined environment for your creativity. Capture Polar features realtime shadows, volumetric beams, realistic color mixing and HDR mapping (preventing whiteouts and improving contrast).

The Basic Edition is the starter package which provides a basic toolset sufficient for most designs. The Basic Edition allows you to create lighting designs in real-time, simulate a lighting rig with a consoles in real-time, create lists and reports based on your design, and create plots of your design.
