Capitals Quizzer is an application developed for Mac users who wish to spend quality time with their family or friends by playing trivia games. You can choose between various game modes, use power-ups when it's necessary, and attempt to get a better score than the previous player.
The app provides you with the following types of games: Capital Cities, Regions, Countries, Flags, Currency, and Landmarks, each with 5 difficulty levels. Your objective is to answer the questions correctly before you run out of time and get the highest score possible.
You also have access to various power-ups which you can use to freeze the timer, get rid of one of the answer variants, and skip to the next question.
However, there were a couple of things I didn't like while testing the app. Firstly, you cannot disable or slow down the timer, an aspect which might annoy beginner players. Secondly, the app plays an annoying and repetitive background music.
All in all, Capitals Quizzer provides you with a fun way to spend your spare time. Plus, it helps you put your geography knowledge to the test.
