Calq is a simple Menu Bar application that provides you with a quick way to solve basic calculations. Different from Mac's default Calculator utility, this program can be launched with a keys' combination and offers you the results you require within seconds.
You can't move the app's main window around your desktop but you can opt for the preferred screen position from the Preferences menu. From there you can also define global hotkeys for displaying or hiding its main window, using trigonometric function within calculations, and much more.
Another good aspect about this calculator is that it automatically hides its main window after you get the results you require and proceed with your work within another app.
Unfortunately, Calq supports a small amount of math operators. However, on the homepage of the developer it says that the app solves basic calculations. So, if you need an app to find the answers for complex math equations, I'd suggest you to try Mac's default Calculator tool or a similar software from the Web.
