CalmDown is a program designed to help you relax and focus on your breathing. This Mac application might prove to be of good use whenever you're dealing with an awful and busy day at work and require some help relaxing from all the accumulated stress.
The utility sits on your Menu Bar from where you can choose the type of relaxation profile you require: 5 or 10 Deep Breaths, Take A Walk or Calm Down. Each of the aforementioned relaxing techniques will display any color you like as a desktop image, hiding the icons and wallpaper from your screen.
When it comes to focusing on breathing, the color changes from one to another. You can select the preferred inhale and exhale colors by using Mac's default color palette utility.
The one thing I'd add to this Mac program would be some background music or relaxing nature sounds, like waves hitting the shores or rain. You can find dozens of Mac utilities that provide you with this feature and it's prove that's very effective when it comes to relaxing in front of your computer.
Nonetheless, this application might do the trick for some Mac users. And since it comes without a price, I can't find any reason why you shouldn't try it and see if it really helps you calm your nerves.
