Call of Atlantis is a nice game which combines multiple gameplays with an interesting story. Every level represents a new step of the journey that goes from Rome to Carthage, visiting multiple locations of ancient history. The main game is a match-3 game in which you will need to swap adjacent items in order to align three or more of the same type and make them disappear from the board. The objective is to obtain the objects by making matches to make them descend to the bottom of the board to collect them. When you obtain them, you can proceed to the next level. You can also get bonuses by completing the amulet of Poseidon by aligning four or more items.

From time to time, you will play hidden-object games in which you need to find all the pieces of a certain item. If you have trouble finding the pieces, you can use the hints which will highlight the location of one of the pieces. Hints are unlimited, but they take some time to recharge. Once, you have found all the pieces, you will need to assemble them to form the item. As you play the game, you will unlock the different locations, so you can play them whenever you want. The game offers nice graphics and sounds, and suitable but a bit repetitive music.
