CalendarPal is a simple calendar and organizer that allows you to create tasks or appointments very easily and even assign reminder so you won't forget them. The program features a nice, colorful and intuitive user interface, very customizable and suitable for beginners. The application also includes weather information of your local area, a to-do list, and a digital clock. The weather feature didn't work quite well for my area since it didn't find it. It should show the current conditions and a forecast. To create a note on a day you just double click on day in the calendar, you cannot add a reminder from there which is quite annoying. To do that, you have to go to the Reminders tab. The program allows you to set hot keys for the most common actions, select background color and level of transparency, include a tray icon, and even set it to change the desklet's color and play a sound when severe weather is expected. All in all, CalendarPal is a simple day organizer and calendar that could work if aren't looking for a professional program. However, it would be great if it included a contact manager and a few other features to make it more attractive.
