Calendar Cleaner is an application dedicated to fixing multiple iCal issues. iCal is a popular Mac OS X utility that offers a wide range of tools for keeping track of your time. It does however come with many problems like invalid calendar entries and duplicate events. With Calendar Cleaner you can detect and remove all troublesome entries quickly and effortlessly.
The utility has a very simple and effective design. Users can choose one or multiple types of conflicts that Calendar Cleaner should scan for: duplicate events in the same calendar, duplicate events in different calendars or repeating event UIDs. The application can also look for events that end before the starting time.
A Log Viewer is available for keeping track of all actions performed within Calendar Cleaner. It is highly recommended that you backup the iCal database before performing any fixes. This way you can always restore events in case of unwanted changes.
Overall, Calendar Cleaner does its job quite nicely but suffers from the lack of customization that a power-user would enjoy like filtering and further analyzing conflicts.
