Bubble Bobble is a very simple game in which you are a cute dragon whose job is to destroy all the enemies in order to advance to the next level. To kill the enemies you need to shoot bubbles at them to trap them inside and then touch them. The enemies will move faster as you advance in levels and there will new ones as you progress. Some enemies are more powerful than others, so you should be careful. If one of the enemies touches you, you will lose a life. Naturally, when you run out of lives, the game is over.

In all the levels there are also lots of items that you can collect, such as ice creams, gems, etc., which will give you extra points. From time to time, there may be some power-ups that will help you finish the levels faster and easily. Moreover, once in a while, there will be bubbles with letters inside, and if you manage to collect all the letters to form the corresponding word, you will be awarded extra points. The game can be played alone or cooperatively with a friend on the same computer.

Sadly, the game offers very poor graphics, simple sounds and repetitive music.

All in all, Bubble Bobble is a simple but very enjoyable and addictive game to pass the time, which, if you do not mind the poor graphics, may work for you.
