Brightness is a menu bar item that allows users to adjust the brightness of their Mac's built-in display and backlit keyboard. It can also adjust the backlighting for MacBooks and MacBook Pros with a backlit keyboard. Brightness cannot currently control external displays like the Apple Cinema Displays.
