Booksbario Community Toolbar integrates search applications with the browser. This toolbar requires Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP and can be installed in Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari and Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher.
After an easy installation users are asked if they´d like to install additional personalized buttons, like an email notifier, a radio player, weather information and a Facebook notifier.
The default book search websites included are Amazon.com, Amazon Kindle and eBay. Other links go to the Barnes and Noble ebooks and bargain books pages and the Amazon Audio books web site. The buttons on the toolbar are simple shortcuts to the web sites of web stores and suppliers of ebooks. The buttons can be easily removed to make space for personalized apps.
Additional apps can be selected by clicking the "plus" button on the right hand side of the toolbar. This button takes the user to the Conduit app marketplace web site where users can any pick from thousands of apps, like social media notifiers for Twitter and Skype, YouTube and Flickr search, games and stock tickers. The apps are easy to install and it is fun to design the toolbar that most serves ones needs.
