Bookmarker is an application that lets you create bookmarks of your favorite websites. Besides saving the web page URLs, the program offers to organize the websites into categories so you can find easier the online content you are looking for.
The tool has a clean and user-friendly appearance. On the left side of the main window, you can view the categories that group the bookmarked pages. The right panel takes most of the interface as it lets you preview the websites that you saved at an earlier moment. Adding a new bookmark is very easy. All you need to do is paste the web page URL and assign a relevant hashtag to categorize the website you are going to preserve. The name and the description fields support automatic completion with online information, yet you can re-edit them with custom data. The online pages are conveniently saved with a thumbnail-like preview that displays the website image at a diminished scale. Clicking the thumbnail showcases the details introduced at saving the web page and enables you to delete, re-edit, and open the bookmark.
With a simple bookmarking approach, the application is very easy to manage. You can consider it a better alternative to your browser's bookmark maker, mainly because of the hashtag-based organization and the thumbnail-like previews of saved websites. Unfortunately, there is no option to rate websites that belong to the same category. Such a feature would have helped you more in choosing the most relevant online page on a specific topic.
