Blitzkrieg is a World War 2 real-time strategy game. In it, you can choose whether you want to play as the Allies or the German forces and battle in several locations around Europe. If you have played games like Command and Conquer or any modern RTS game, you will probably be not impressed by this game. Its graphics are OK, but nothing to call home about. The gameplay mechanics are perhaps this game's strongest point. There is just a lot that you can do in the battlefield. You have tanks, infantry and air support at your disposal.
There are tutorial missions that explain the game quite thoroughly. For example, the first one explains how to move units and how to save and load the game. It took me a little over 5 minutes to complete that one. After that, I jumped right into the campaign mode, where I already had quite a few different units to play with, and enemies all around me.
This is just my personal opinion, and it probably doesn't hold true for everyone, but I was having a hard time seeing enemy infantry units on the few missions that I played. Also, it felt like tanks and other units took too long to engage enemies, even when aggressive movement was enabled.
I had the game crash on me only once, but there are complaints of crashes, so make sure to save your games regularly.
