Bilbo: The Four Corners 

Bilbo: The Four Corners of the World is a typical restaurant-themed time management game in which you have to take orders, serve customers, earn tips, and eventually develop your business to new heights using the available upgrades and bonuses. It pretty much respects the winning formula that made Diner Dash, another restaurant-themed time management game, one of the top-selling and downloadable games of all time. In fact, it’s quite a similar game, as both the main theme (restaurant management) and the gameplay (seating and serving customers) are very alike.

In this game, the name Bilbo has nothing to do with hobbits or The Lord of the Rings. Bilbo is the main character, a small cute animal that reminds me somehow of Ratatouille, another small creature with a passion for cooking. Actually, Bilbo and the customers are what differentiate this game from Diner Dash the most. While in Diner Dash the main character and the customers were people, in Bilbo: The Four Corners of the World, they’re cute little animals. Other than this, there aren’t many remarkable things to make this game stand apart from its much more popular pair. The visuals are also rather average and unimpressive.

Anyway, Bilbo: The Four Corners of the World is still quite enjoyable. It’s a simple time management game that won’t get you thrilled but it still can keep you entertained for a few hours. It’s not my type of game, but I’m sure plenty of players will find it entertaining. It’s also suitable for kids, as it’s simple, cute, cartoonish, and lacks any violence.
