Bigasoft iPhone Ringtone Maker lets you create ringtones for your iPhone. It allows you to add any MP3 or WAV sound file and select a segment that will be saved into an M4R file, which is the format that the iPhone requires for ringtone files. The app comes with an audio player, which makes it really easy to select the right segment for your ringtone.
The first thing you have to do is load a song. You do this by dragging it onto the interface. I tested this with an MP3 file and it worked fine. WAV should also work, but I am not sure if this app supports other formats. After your song is loaded, you can start playback and select the area that you want to use. By default, there is a selection at the beginning of the song, you can drag this to anywhere on the song to set the start point, and then drag on the right end to set the end point. You can also do this manually, by changing the numbers in the boxes below.
This app lets you boost the volume of your sound clip or lower it, all using a slider. You can also set a fade in effect at the beginning of your ringtone and a fade out effect at the end.
In my testing, I easily created a 30-second clip that sounded great and was processed almost instantly.
In short, this app is very easy to use and it works well.
