The Eastern Orthodox Church is the dominant Christian denomination in Eastern European countries, including Romania. This free BibleMax module features a Romanian translation of the Bible; it is not clear, however, which of the several Romanian translations of the Scriptures is included in this module, but it is probably the Bucharest one, published in the 17th century, which is one of the most important versions in that language.
Oddly enough, despite the fact that the Orthodox Church admits the Deuterocanonical books as part of its Bible, this version does not features those books. Among them are Tobit, Ecclesiasticus, Baruch, Judith, and Maccabees I and II. Thus, you will find a strange mix of an Orthodox text containing only those books considered canonical by most Protestant churches. I think that it is a big mistake, since the versions of the Bible should be presented as they were meant to be read. Thus, if you are an Orthodox Christian and want to read a Bible version approved by your Church, this module is not what you are looking for.
